I went to Vancouver with friends and stayed there for three days. It was the first time to visit there, I was excited to spend a time for shopping and sightseeing.
This photo was taken at the Granville Island. I went to a market and walked beside a beach. I had a blast with beautiful weather.

I went to Chartwell Kamloops Retirement Residence as a volunteer for two months.
I carved a pumpkin with residents for Halloween decoration. I have never tried to carve a pumpkin, but seniors taught me how to do it and I enjoyed the activity with them.
This is one of precious memories in my fieldwork.

This is my favorite photo of Halloween. Everyone put nice costumes on and enjoyed Halloween in Canada.
After school, I walked around streets near my house, and said ‘Trick or Treat’ to get candies. I got many snacks and candies, and my bag was overflowing.
In Japan, I do not celebrate Halloween and I have never dressed up costume for the event. It was new for me, and it was amazing experience.

New flavor latte was started to be sold at Starbucks, and I wanted to grab a Caramel Brulé Latte.
When I ordered it, the staff asked me my name, I said ‘Koto’. He said ‘okay’, so I didn’t tell spelling of my name. Then I checked my cup.
My name was written as KOKO.
Now my nick name is KOKO and I like it.
